MSCE

Blantyre Baptist Academy is dedicated to providing a comprehensive educational experience that seamlessly integrates academic excellence with Christian values. Our mission is to nurture students holistically—intellectually, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially—anchored in the teachings of Jesus Christ (Luke 6:47–49).

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)

  • Students follow the national curriculum, culminating in the MSCE examinations in Form 4. Subjects offered include English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Agriculture, Business Studies, Social and Life Skills, Chichewa, Bible Knowledge, Geography, History, and Additional Mathematics.
  • The MSCE is the final examination at the secondary school level in Malawi, administered by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Students who pass this examination qualify for selection into public and private colleges and universities or can enter the job market.

Conditions for the Award of MSCE

  • Candidates are awarded the MSCE if they satisfy one of the following conditions.
  • Obtaining a pass in six subjects, including English, with at least one distinction or credit.
  • Obtaining a pass in five subjects, including English, with at least three distinctions or credits.
