Blantyre Baptist Academy is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by two of our students at the CSAE Bible Trivia and General Knowledge Competition, organised by Redeemed For a Purpose (RFP).
The national open competition brought together more than 100 participants who competed in questions covering a wide range of areas, including Bible knowledge, Science, History and Geography. The competition provided learners with an opportunity to demonstrate not only their academic knowledge, but also their confidence, preparation and ability to think under pressure.
Following the earlier stages of the competition, Juanita Valeta and Portia Kapichi successfully progressed to the National Final Round, held on 26 September 2026 at the KCA Dawn Auditorium in Blantyre.
Juanita Emerges National Winner
BBA is delighted to announce that Juanita Valeta emerged 1st Position in the Lower Category, becoming the national winner in her category.
As part of her achievement, Juanita also received a cash prize of MK1,000,000.00.
Her success is a significant achievement for both Juanita and the school, reflecting the value of consistent preparation, dedication and a broad knowledge base.
We also congratulate Portia Kapichi for reaching the National Final Round and representing Blantyre Baptist Academy with distinction.
A Celebration of Knowledge and Faith
The achievement is particularly meaningful to BBA because the competition brought together Bible knowledge and general academic knowledge, areas that align closely with our commitment to developing learners academically and spiritually.
At Blantyre Baptist Academy, we believe that education should equip young people with knowledge, confidence, character and a strong foundation on which to build their future. Achievements such as this remind us of what our learners can accomplish when they are given opportunities to develop and demonstrate their gifts.
